Knitting Factory Rules
You can maximize your enjoyment of the show and avoid any issues with Knitting Factory security by following the rules below. If a specific event allows for items listed below, it will be noted in the show description. If you have any questions, you can contact Knitting Factory at (208) 367-1212
Accessibility Policy
Knitting Factory has accessibility seating available on the balcony level as most shows tend to be standing room only. If you require extra accommodations, please call the venue at (208) 367-1212 at least 2 weeks before a ticketed event. Then come to the event at least a half-hour before the show so the staff can help you.
Camera Policy
Cameras and recording equipment is generally not allowed in the venue.

Family Atmosphere Policy
The staff insist on maintaining a family-friendly atmosphere at Knitting Factory. Guests who are found to be causing discomfort to guests through aggressive, abusive, or disconcerting behavior may be asked to leave. In addition, guests who appear to be intoxicated or under the influence may be asked to leave or barred entry.
If a show differs from this policy, it will be noted in the description.
Late Arrival Policy
Doors typically open at 5pm on show nights. It’s suggested that you arrive early so you have plenty of time to find parking and get to your seat. Some events may bar entry for late entry. Please refer to your event description for more details.
Lost and Found Policy
If you find a lost item, please give it to event staff and they will take it to Lost and Found for you. If you lose an item during a show, you can check with event staff for assistance. Or you can call after a show at (208) 367-1212. Please be sure to leave a detailed description of your item and complete contact information.
The Knitting Factory does not claim responsibility for any lost items.
Mask Policy

Prohibited Items
The following items are not allowed at most Knitting Factory events.
- Weapons of any kind (including spikes & chains
- Outside food or drink
- Outside alcohol
- Illegal drugs and/or paraphernalia
- Professional photo/audio/video equipment
- Cans, bottles, flasks or similar containers
- Large bags greater than 14″ x 14″ x 6″
- Skateboards, umbrellas & backpacks can be checked at doors
Management reserves the right to prohibit items not listed above.
Re-Entry Policy
Re-entry is not allowed. Please do not leave before the show is concluded.
Smoking Rules
The Knitting Factory does not allow smoking inside the venue. The only exception is a smoking patio that is available during all shows. Under Boise ordinance, our outdoor smoking patio is reserved for guests over the age of 18.
